Diving Lesson Make-up Policy

TDT tries very hard to schedule at least 8 lessons per month and generally there are 12 lessons opportunities scheduled in each month. However, we do understand that certain months, November and December in particular, are very heavy on both college competitions and holidays. Therefore, to better serve our lesson members, we have created a make-up lesson policy to help make sure that lesson divers get the opportunity to capture their 8 lessons each month. Below are the details of the policy.

• Missed lessons can be made up any time during the month. You can make up the lesson, earlier or later in the month during any regularly scheduled lesson. In the event the lesson can not be captured, the diver can make up the missed opportunity the following month on any regularly scheduled day.
• During the months of heavy activity and holidays, scheduled make up days will be offered

• in addition to the regular training times. Check the calendar on line for the dates and times of make up days. Please use these extra days as another opportunity to capture your 8 lessons in those months.

In general, make-up lessons will be scheduled on the first two Mondays of the month from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.

Make-up lessons WILL be scheduled for the following reasons:

• • Holidays or competition days that causes lesson cancellation
• • Injury inside or outside the pool
• • Catastrophic events such as acts of God or death in the family 
• • Coach illness, injury or outside commitment

• No make-up lessons will be scheduled for the following situations: 
• • Facility down times for scheduled or unscheduled maintenance
• • Inclement weather, general sickness, outside activities, family vacations, UA functions

• Make-up lessons for one month will be conducted the following month. They are lost if not used in the second month.
